My Story.
Hi! I’m Romi Castagnino, an environmental video journalist and conservation biologist based in Lima, Peru.
My main focus in science is the conservation of tropical mammals. I’ve done research in the Amazon Rainforest and tropical montane cloud forests of Peru using camera traps to study carnivore conservation.
I am very passionate about science communication. I feel most happy when I’m out in the field with a camera in hand.
